Behold, I Make All Things New closes the EP with the promised renewal of creation. Revelation 21 places the hope of God’s people in His presence: He will dwell with them, wipe away their tears and bring death and pain to an end. The song’s assurance comes from the faithfulness of the One who speaks from the throne.

The second verse and bridge draw from Revelation 22: the river of life, the tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, the end of the curse, and the joy of seeing God’s face. This is future hope, not a claim that suffering has already vanished. The final refrain looks forward to life with God in a creation made new.

The God Who Dwells With Us

Read Revelation 21:1–5 and 22:1–5. The centre of this promise is not merely a better place. It is God Himself dwelling with His people. Tears, death and the curse do not have the last word; the Lord who makes all things new does.

These promises allow us to name present pain without pretending it is small. A coming day without tears does not forbid tears today. It means that grief is held within a larger hope secured by God’s faithful word.

As you wait, let that future shape how you treat people now. Comfort someone who mourns, seek peace where there is division, and care for what God has made. These acts do not bring the final renewal by our power; they witness to the King whose promise we trust.

Prayer: Faithful Lord, hold me steady in Your promise. Help me comfort others and live in hope until the day we see Your face. Amen.
