About This Song

In our Life Group, we have seen God answer prayers and perform miracles. We have also stood together through times when prayers were not answered as we had hoped. “Even If You Do Not” is our declaration that faith is not dependent on receiving the outcome we desire. We know God is able—but even if He does not move the mountain or calm the sea, we will still trust Him, praise His name, and say, “It is well with my soul.” Inspired by Daniel 3:17–18.

Devotional

Real faith is not proven when the answer comes — it is proven before we know what the answer will be. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did not stand at the edge of the furnace bargaining with God; they settled the matter in their hearts first: He is able, and even if He does not, we will still be His. Perhaps you are standing before your own fire today — a diagnosis, a closed door, a prayer that heaven seems silent about. The invitation of this song is to make the same declaration: to trust God's character even when you cannot trace His plan. He may deliver you from the fire, or He may walk with you through it — but either way, He is faithful, and it can still be well with your soul.
