The Battle Belongs opens the EP inside 2 Chronicles 20 — one of the strangest battle plans in Scripture. Three armies march on Judah, and King Jehoshaphat's response is to send the choir out first. Over a dark synth drone and rising tribal percussion, the low chant lays down the thesis of the whole EP: the battle belongs to the Lord, the victory comes from His hand. That is the discipline this song drills into you with every repetition: praise first, fear dies. Most of us do it the other way around — we plan first, worry long, and praise only once the outcome is safe. Jehoshaphat's order of battle reverses it, because praise is not a celebration of victory; it is an act of trust that hands the fight to the only One strong enough to win it.
