About This Release

Nog Oppad is an Afrikaans EP about the space between being hurt and being healed — no longer where you were, but not yet where God is taking you. The three songs move like one journey: from the ground, through the slow work of grace, toward a life that is more than mere survival.

Nog Nie Gebreek begins where strength is almost gone: down, but still held by the Rock. Nog Nie Klaar Nie looks honestly at mistakes, regret and passing years, but refuses to accept the present moment as the ending. Meer As Oorleef then lifts its eyes to Jesus' promise of abundant life — not merely counting the days, but becoming who God calls you to be.

Together, the songs say: the scars are real, the process is slow, but God has not abandoned what His hands began. You are still on the way.

Devotional

"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion" (Philippians 1:6).

We like stories with tidy endings, but most of the life of faith happens in the middle — where the answer has not yet come, the wound is still healing and the road still stretches ahead. Scripture's word for that middle is not failure; it is formation.

This EP gives three names to God's work in that space. When you are on the ground: not yet broken. When your past tries to define you: God is not finished yet. When you are simply trying to get through the day: Christ calls you to more than survival.

The assurance does not lie in how quickly you progress, but in the One doing the work. Philippians 1:6 does not say you will complete yourself. God began; God remains faithful; God will finish. Walk today's part of the road. You do not need to have arrived to already be held in His hand.

Lees in Afrikaans
