About This Release
U Bly Getrou is a three-song Afrikaans journey through gratitude, patient growth, and surrender. “Ek Het ’n Rede om te Sing” finds reasons for praise in daily mercy and the finished work of Christ. “Tree vir Tree” speaks to slow progress, honest repair, and God’s presence in the next faithful step. The title track closes in quiet worship, resting not in perfect words but in the unchanging faithfulness of Jesus. Across the release, hope is not presented as denial of pain; it is confidence that God remains near, gracious, and worthy through every season.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23).
God’s faithfulness meets us in more than dramatic moments. It is present in ordinary mercies, in the slow work of repentance, and in worship offered when words are few. These songs move through all three.
Gratitude teaches us to recognise grace today. Perseverance teaches us to obey without comparing our pace to another person’s. Surrender teaches us to bring the whole life before Jesus because the cross has already shown the depth of His faithful love.
Our feelings change, progress can be uneven, and some prayers remain unanswered longer than expected. Christ does not change. He remains near, and He remains worthy.
Reflect: Where do you most need to trust God’s faithfulness today—in gratitude, in the next difficult step, or in surrender? Bring that place to Jesus and hold fast to His promise.

God se getrouheid ontmoet ons in meer as net dramatiese oomblikke. Dit is teenwoordig in alledaagse genade, in die stadige werk van bekering en in aanbidding wat gebring word wanneer woorde min is. Hierdie liedere beweeg deur al drie.
Dankbaarheid leer ons om vandag se genade raak te sien. Volharding leer ons om gehoorsaam te wees sonder om ons pas met iemand anders s’n te vergelyk. Oorgawe leer ons om die hele lewe voor Jesus te bring, omdat die kruis reeds die diepte van sy getroue liefde gewys het.
Ons gevoelens verander, vordering kan ongelyk wees en sommige gebede bly langer onbeantwoord as wat ons verwag. Christus verander nie. Hy bly naby, en Hy bly waardig.
Dink na: Waar moet jy vandag die meeste op God se getrouheid vertrou—in dankbaarheid, in die volgende moeilike tree, of in oorgawe? Bring daardie plek na Jesus en hou vas aan sy belofte.
