About This Release

The Grave Must Answer is a three-song journey through the authority, compassion, and victory of the risen Christ. “The King of Glory Comes” opens the gates before the conquering King. “Even Now” enters the grief of Martha at Lazarus’s tomb, where faith meets the One who is Resurrection and Life. “I Have Seen the Lord” follows Mary Magdalene from tears in the garden to the first proclamation of Easter morning. Together the songs move from expectation, through the place of death, into eyewitness testimony: Christ reigns, the grave hears His voice, and death cannot keep Him.

Devotional

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” (John 11:25).

The Christian hope is not built on the idea that death is small or grief is easy. Lazarus was truly dead, Martha truly mourned, and Mary Magdalene truly wept. Into those places Jesus did not offer a distant theory. He offered Himself: “I am the resurrection and the life.”

The three movements of this EP belong together. The King of Glory has authority. At Lazarus’s tomb, His voice calls life out of death. In the garden, the risen Lord speaks Mary’s name and turns mourning into witness. The grave must answer because Christ has already entered it, broken its claim, and risen.

Reflect: Where has hope worn thin? Bring that place honestly to Jesus. Resurrection faith does not deny the sealed stone; it trusts the living King who stands before it.
